OUR HISTORY
Formerly known as California Area Family Development Center, KLA's vision is to help all children build a positive and healthy foundation for their future.

Keystone Learning Academy was originally founded in 1970 as the California Area Family Development Center.
The organization was formed from humble beginnings in the basement of the Community Action Agency in the California neighborhood of Louisville at 1600 West St. Catherine Street. Its purpose then was to provide safe and loving child care to families in need. Although the Center has grown, relocated and is now know as the Keystone Learning Academy, those founding principles remain.
